iPhone 4 Antenna Issues

iPhone 4 Antenna Issues – Apple has today announced that the new iphone 4 does have issues with signal strength, and have told buyers to hold the phone differently to solve these problems.
Apple has said that gripping the phone the wrong way could lower signal and Internet strength. However, they have also quashed reports that say this is an iphone specific problem, and have stated that any wireless phone held the wrong way would cause the same issues.
To solve these problems Apple has said that users should not grip their iphone 4 in the bottom left hand corner, alternatively using a case would also solve these problems. Apple said that if you grip the phone in the lower left hand corner, then you are covering the antenna, which will lower signal strength.
Apple had over 360 messages posted on their support forums complaining that the new iphone 4 has signal issues, and many have said that they believe that some other phones do have these problems, but have never seen it to such an extent as the new iphone 4.
Consumers are angry that the design has changed from the perfectly respectable iphone 3 and 3GS where the signal antenna was in the inside of the phone. Now the signal is situated on the outside of the phone Experts have said that a build up of moisture caused by sweaty palms can affect delicate radio signals.
Rapid Repair (a reputable apple repair company) is testing the phones capability of maintaining a signal, and will form a report to be released to the public. If test results come back and reveal that the iphone 4 is out of the ordinary then there will be uproar from customers to redesign this ‘fault’, and replace existing ‘faulty’ models.
